It buzzes within a second of her best time, a 2:09.57 that she supplied last year at Canadian Olympic Trials. Harvey\u2019s time was 3.3 seconds ahead of runner-up <strong>Ella Jansen.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Madison Kryger<\/strong> also turned in a stellar performance on the final night of the meet. The 16-year-old went 2:13.37 to best <strong>Ingrid Wilm,<\/strong> a decade her senior, by .32 seconds. <strong>Shannon Meadway<\/strong> was third. Kryger is coming off a best time in the 200 back of 2:11.44 in March at the TYR Pro Swim Series.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/results.swimming.ca\/2025_Speedo_Canadian_Swimming_Open\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Speedo Canadian Open Results<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.swimmingworldmagazine.com\/news\/speedo-canadian-open-ingrid-wilm-outduels-taylor-ruck-in-100-back\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Speedo Canadian Open Night 1 Recap<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.swimmingworldmagazine.com\/news\/taylor-ruck-leads-canadian-olympians-to-wins-on-night-2-of-speedo-canadian-open\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Speedo Canadian Open Night 2 Recap<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Eric Ginzburg<\/strong> pulled off a double on the final day of the meet. He won the 100 butterfly in 53.58, six tenths up on <strong>Nicholas Duncan.<\/strong> He capped the night by winning the 50 free in 22.81. In that one, he got his hand to the wall first in a bunched field, with <strong>Chris Weeks<\/strong> and <strong>Luke Stewart-Beinder<\/strong> tied for second in 22.90 and veteran <strong>Yuri Kisil<\/strong> fourth in 22.94.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Matea Gigovic<\/strong> was the only swimmer to break a minute in the women\u2019s 100 butterfly, winning in 59.82 seconds. She was a full second clear of <strong>Clare Watson. Alexanne LePage<\/strong> bounced back from finishing third in the 200 IM to win the 100 breaststroke in 1:07.66. She was 1.1 seconds ahead of <strong>Shona Branton,<\/strong> while <strong>Sydney Pickrem<\/strong> finished third.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Blake Tierney<\/strong> picked up a win in the men\u2019s 200 back. The Canadian record holder went 2:02.54, nearly six seconds shy of his best, but still four tenths up on <strong>Loic Courville Fortin.<\/strong> Tierney came home in 30.41 to rally past Courville Fortin by .37 seconds.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Taylor Ruck<\/strong> picked up another sprint win with her time of 25.57 seconds in the 50 free. She was a quarter-second up on <strong>Sylvia Statkevicius,<\/strong> who went 25.84. <strong>Ranumi Eashwarage<\/strong> third in 26.19. Ruck was within .04 of the meet record set last year by <strong>Delia Lloyd<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Kent Goni Avila<\/strong> won the men\u2019s 200 IM in 2:04.08. <strong>Owen Ekk<\/strong> was second, <strong>Cole Pratt<\/strong> third, all under 2:05. Oliver Dawson went 1:01.59 to claim the men\u2019s 100 breast, outdueling <strong>Apollo Hess,<\/strong> who went 1:02.21. In the distance events, <strong>Tori Meklensek<\/strong> added to her 800 free win by going 4:17.69 in the 400 free. <strong>Aiden Kirk<\/strong> was denied a 400-800 double by <strong>Ethan Ekk,<\/strong> who won in 3:54.48.
