Baylor Nelson Transferring to Texas for Senior Season<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Texas men’s swim team will be losing many key pieces from the squad that recently captured an NCAA title<\/a>, with\u00a0Luke Hobson<\/strong> and\u00a0Chris Guiliano<\/strong> among those now out of eligibility. But the push for a second consecutive title in 2025-26 received a boost with the commitment of\u00a0Baylor Nelson<\/strong> to spend his senior season with the program.<\/p>\n

Nelson announced on Instagram<\/a> that he is transferring from in-state rival Texas A&M. He wrote, “Thank you, Texas A&M for the amazing opportunities, experiences, and friendships I\u2019ve made over the past three years. I\u2019m grateful to have learned what being an Aggie truly means. I will always have a special place in my heart for Aggieland. With that being said, I\u2019m thankful for the guidance God has shown me and I\u2019m excited for a new opportunity to be able to use my senior year of eligibility at the University of Texas! Hook\u2019em\ud83e\udd18\ud83c\udffb”<\/p>\n
