The nine-time Olympic medallist <a href=\"https:\/\/www.swimmingworldmagazine.com\/news\/aussie-olympic-champion-kyle-chalmers-scorching-47-27-the-fourth-fastest-time-of-career-in-norway\/\">went top of the 100 free rankings<\/a> in 47.27 &#8211; the fourth-fastest of his career &#8211; at the <strong>Bergen Swim Festival<\/strong> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.swimmingworldmagazine.com\/news\/kyle-chalmers-blasts-21-78-pb-in-50-free-to-clinch-double-at-bergen-swim-festival\/\">before firing off a 21.78 PB<\/a> over 50m.<\/p>\n<p>On to the Swedish capital and the 26-year-old fired off a 22.89 PB in the 50 fly. Only <strong>Matthew Targett<\/strong> has gone quicker among Australians with a national record of 22.73 that secured silver at the 2009 World Championships and that still stands as an Oceania standard today.<\/p>\n<p>Chalmers&#8217; PB ahead of Stockholm stood at 23.10 from the 2024 Australian Championships from which he sliced 0.21 as he became only the second Australian inside 23secs.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Nyls Korstanje<\/strong> of the Netherlands was second in 23.02 with <strong>Konrad Czerniak<\/strong> and <strong>Casper Puggaard<\/strong> sharing third in 23.54.<\/p>\n<h3>Gose Prevails In Duel With Johnson<\/h3>\n<p>Olympic bronze medallist <strong>Isabel Gose<\/strong> enjoyed a fine duel with <strong>Moesha Johnson<\/strong> of Australia in the women&#8217;s 1500 free with the pair trading the lead. She was followed by German duo <strong>Lise Seidel<\/strong> (1:59.61) and <strong>Nina Holt<\/strong> (1:59.71) as 0.25 separated the trio.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a
