Why Caeleb Dressel Joined Forces with deboer for New Suit Partnership<\/strong><\/p>\n

For nearly a decade, Caeleb Dressel<\/strong> has been regarded as one of the premier swimmers in the world. Olympic titles. World records. World championships. Dressel has acquired all of those honors while producing a career that will one day earn him induction into the International Swimming Hall of Fame.<\/p>\n

Aside from his numerous accolades, Dressel has also been a role model in the sport, connecting with fans and representing his country with grace. Now, the 28-year-old \u2013 with the 2028 Olympic Games as a target \u2013 has embraced a new partnership in the swimwear market, teaming<\/a> with deboer, a company with a longtime presence in the triathlon world, and ready to make an impact in the pool.<\/p>\n

A 10-time Olympic medalist, Dressel saw the opportunity offered by deboer as a perfect fit.<\/p>\n

\u201cI wanted a partnership to align with my goals \u2013 make the sport faster and accessible to everyone,\u201d Dressel told Swimming World. \u201cI would love for everyone to enjoy the sport as much as I do. I see the partnership with deboer making this a reality. Deboer, simply put, loves the water and is passionate about swimming, and that is exactly what I was looking for in a teammate.\u201d<\/p>\n

Through years of research and development, deboer has developed the 3dium fabric for its suits. This revolutionary material, which has been approved by World Aquatics for use in competition, was developed through countless hours of scientific study in the pool, lab and flume. Ultimately, deboer crafted scale arrays in its 3dium fabric, a textured surface that significantly reduces drag. En route to creating its breakthrough suit, deboer worked closely with Dressel, asking for his input throughout the development process. Obviously, Dressel \u2013 based on his years of excellence and feel for the water \u2013 knew what he wanted. More, he recognized what he wanted to see available to other swimmers in their shared pursuit of speed and comfort.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis sport is constantly advancing and evolving, from training methods, to technique, to suit technology,\u201d Dressel said. \u201cI want to be able to keep up with all the advancements the best I can and certainly with suit technology. Deboer has the numbers and I have the feel. I think it\u2019s an ideal team. They understand the fabrics and testing methods and I have a wonderful feel and relationship with the water. Putting these two together results in the fastest suit. They have listened to every bit of feedback I have given them and they move quick. I get to nerd out and have fun in the water.\u201d<\/p>\n

After earning three medals at last summer\u2019s Olympic Games in Paris, Dressel indicated a desire to compete at the 2028 Games, when they return to the United States in Los Angeles. On the road to what would be a fourth Olympiad for the American star, Dressel is eager for the challenge and happy with life.<\/p>\n

\u201cI don\u2019t think my confidence has wavered in any way,\u201d he said. \u201cMy chapters in life are always changing and this year is no exception. I love where I am at in life and certainly where I am at with swimming. This relationship (with deboer) just sounded like too much fun. I get to create a dream suit for not only myself but for the sport of swimming, and I get to do that with people just as passionate as myself.
