NCAA Men’s Championships: Day 2 Finals Showdowns Loom (Heat Sheets and Up-Downs)<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

The individual events are heating up at the 2025 NCAA Division I Men’s Swimming and Diving Championships in Federal Way, Washington.<\/p>\n

The Day 2 finals will be pivotal with several teams hoping to stay in title contention.<\/p>\n

The events will be the 500 freestyle, 200 IM, 50 freestyle, 1-meter diving and the 200 free relay.<\/p>\n

The 500 free will be a race against the American record-holder. Texas sophomore Rex Maurer<\/strong> is the top seed with a 4:07.55, three seconds from his American record. His teammate Luke Hobson<\/strong> will be in the mix as well as Cal’s Lucas Henveau<\/strong>x.<\/p>\n

The 200 IM should be a showdown between Texas junior Hubert Kos<\/strong> and Cal fifth-year Destin Lasco<\/strong>, the American record-holder. Of course plenty of swimmers will look to crash the party.<\/p>\n

The 50 free, looks to be another showdown between Tennessee’s Jordan Crooks<\/strong> and Florida’s Josh<\/strong> Liendo<\/strong>, though in the 50, anything can happen, especially with six Olympians in the final.<\/p>\n
