The list includes 15 Olympians, nine Paralympians, three Olympic teams, three Paralympic teams, six legends, three coaches and three special contributors.<\/p>\n<p>Two Paralympic swimmers are on the list &#8211; <strong>Susan Hagel<\/strong> and <strong>Cortney Jordan<\/strong> &#8211; as well as coach <strong>Doc James Counsilman<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;On behalf of the U.S. Olympic &amp; Paralympic Committee, we are proud to announce the finalists for induction into the U.S. Olympic &amp; Paralympic Hall of Fame, Class of 2025,&#8221; said USOPC CEO <strong>Sarah<\/strong> <strong>Hirshland<\/strong>. &#8220;All of these remarkable athletes, teams and contributors have left a lasting legacy on Team USA and have helped shape the Olympic and Paralympic Movement. The weekend will also feature the 2025 U.S. Olympic &amp; Paralympic Museum&#8217;s Fan Festival, taking place July 10-13 in Colorado Springs, known as Olympic City USA. The Olympic and Paralympic family includes the Team USA Athletes\u2019 Commission, National Governing Bodies, the USOPC board of directors, the Paralympic Advisory Council and select members of the media.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;The U.S. Olympic &amp; Paralympic Hall of Fame serves as a vital steward of Team USA\u2019s storied legacy,&#8221; said USOPC Board Chair <strong>Gene Sykes<\/strong>. &#8220;We are deeply grateful to all the finalists for their extraordinary dedication, for embodying the Olympic and Paralympic values, and for using sport as a force for positive change in their communities and beyond.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>The Class of 2025 will be announced on Tuesday, May 6, and inducted on Saturday, July 12, during a ceremony in Colorado Springs.
