Drury has 358 to Nova&#8217;s 353, with Colorado Mesa (284), Indy (272) and Lynn (174) among the top five. For the men, Drury&#8217;s lead is 35 points, with a total of 390 leading Tampa (355), McKendree (262), Indy (239) and Grand Valley (186).<\/p>\n<p>Individually, Tampa&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Jacob Hamlin<\/strong> and Colorado Mesa&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Agata Naskret<\/strong> each set NCAA Division II records, with Hamlin winning his third individual event in record time in the 500 freestyle while Naskret lowered her own mark in her second consecutive 100 backstroke victory. But over half the distance, Meklensek overtook earlier leader\u00a0<strong>Lucy Hedley<\/strong> at the halfway point and took over to win by 2.70 seconds.<\/p>\n<p>Meklensek came in at 4:44.87, with Hedley coming in at 4:47.57 for a runnerup finish. Indy&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Cedric Buessing<\/strong> set the national record at 4:16.15 last month, but Hamlin entered the national meet with a best time not far behind at 4:16.84. After Buessing chose to scratch the 500, the door was open for a dominant finals performance.<\/p>\n<p>Hamlin smashed right through 4:15 and recorded a time of 4:14.62, one-and-a-half seconds underneath the previous mark. He also shattered the meet record of 4:17.09, set in 2016 by\u00a0<strong>Dion Dreesens<\/strong>. She previously set the top mark Thursday evening, clocking 51.53 on the leadoff leg of her team&#8217;s 400 medley relay, and she bested that time by a hundredth as she puled away from the field to secure the win here. Naskret has now lowered the national mark from 52.07 to 51.52 this season.<\/p>\n<p>The race was tight at the halfway point, with Naskret only hundredths ahead of Augustana&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Bryn Greenwaldt<\/strong> and Lynn&#8217;s <strong>Luna Mertins<\/strong>, but Naskret&#8217;s 26.41 homecoming split proved the difference. Tampa was back in front after three legs before Bosch and Nolles went to work and took over.
