visibility: hidden;\" title=\"&#8220;Chelsea Gubecka&#8217;s Marathon Effort Of Toughness and Resiliance  Earns Her Australia&#8217;s First Ticket to Paris 2024&#8221; &#8212; Swimming World\" src=\"https:\/\/www.swimmingworldmagazine.com\/news\/chelsea-gubeckas-marathon-effort-of-toughness-and-resiliance-earns-her-australias-first-ticket-to-paris-2024\/embed\/#?secret=c2K0y8SzAE#?secret=8LWdum9uF5\" data-secret=\"8LWdum9uF5\" width=\"500\" height=\"282\" frameborder=\"0\" marginwidth=\"0\" marginheight=\"0\" scrolling=\"no\"><\/iframe><\/div>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The now 26-year-old Queenslander has continued to be a mainstay on the 2015, 2017, 2019, 2022, 2023, 2024 teams and now the 2025 Dolphins team for a record eighth World Championships.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Johnson, the Europe-based Gold Coaster Olympic silver medallist and 2024 teammate Lee were automatically selected for Singapore following their respective 5km titles at the Nationals in Busselton, WA in January while Gubecka, Martin, Sloman and Raymond cemented selection at the Open Water World Cup meet in Egypt last month.<\/p>\n<p>For Martin and Raymond, Singapore will mark their World Championship debut after they both launched their careers with 5km and 10km wins at the 2024 Australian Championships in the absence of the Olympians &#8211; 1000m and 500m knockout rounds with Top 10 finishes from each heat advancing to the next round.
