Saturday had long been a formality for ASU, finishing up a dominant performance in Year 1 of life in the Big 12.

Jonny Kulow set a meet record in the men’s 100 freestyle, then helped the Sun Devils finish off the meet with dual sweeps in the 400 free relays. The winning margin for the women’s team ended up at 455 points, while the men’s team put a scare into the 2,000-point barrier, though even the 64 lost from Friday’s disqualified 200 free relay wouldn’t quite have gotten them there. The 1,912 was 600 more than Arizona, the runner-up in both. On the men’s side, the three conference newcomers, with Utah in third, took the top three spots.

Arizona State swept the Swimmer of the Year awards, with Jonny Kulow as the top male, Lucien Vergnes as the top male freshman, Caroline Bentz as the top female and Julia Ullmann the top female freshman.

Anna Kwong of TCU was named the top female diver, and her male teammate David Ekdahl took home the other honor. Colin Agor of Arizona and Callie Eagleston of Utah were named the top freshmen divers.

Big 12 Swimming Coverage

Big 12 Championships Live Results

Big 12 Championships Meet Hub

Night 1 Recap

Night 2 Recap

Night 3 Recap

Night 4 Recap

Full Results

Final Team Scores

Women - Team Rankings - Through Event 43
 1.
