Minneapolis.<\/p>\n<p>The Day 2 events for prelims are the 500 free, 200 IM and 50 free.<\/p>\n<p>Here is a look at what happened Thursday morning:<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/sidearmstats.com\/minnesota\/swim\/index.htm\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Live Results<\/a><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.swimmingworldmagazine.com\/news\/category\/college\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">More College News<\/a><\/p>\n<h2>Big Ten Men&#8217;s 500 Free<\/h2>\n<p>Indiana junior <strong>Zalan Sarkany<\/strong> grabbed the top seed in the 500 free, getting to the wall in 4:13.41, a half second ahead of the field.<\/p>\n<p>Minnesota senior<strong> Bar Soloveychik<\/strong> dropped four seconds from his entry time to finish in 4:13.92.<\/p>\n<p>Michigan junior <strong>Eduardo Moraes<\/strong> was just behind in 4:13.93.<\/p>\n<p>Fellow Wolverine <strong>Lorne Wigginton<\/strong> took the fourth seed in 4:15.72, followed by Northwestern&#8217;s <strong>Joshua Staples<\/strong> (4:15.83), Minnesota&#8217;s <strong>Joseph Tepper<\/strong> (4:16.30), Ohio (<\/strong>1:41.31) and <strong>Gal Groumi<\/strong> (1:41.70).<\/p>\n<p>Ohio State junior <strong>Tristan Jankovics<\/strong> took the fifth seed (1:41.78), followed by Indiana freshman in 18.84, followed by senior<strong> Daniel Baltes<\/strong> (18.96) and fifth-year <strong>Mario McDonald<\/strong> (18.97).<\/p>\n<p>Michigan took the next two seeds with <strong>Tyler Ray<\/strong> (19.08) and <strong>Bence Szabados<\/strong> (19.10), who tied with Indiana&#8217;s <strong>Matthew King<\/strong>.
