She was the only swimmer in the field to split all 27s after her first 50 (26.17) and closed with a strong 27.04 in her final 50 to earn the top seed in tonight&#8217;s finals.<\/p>\n<p>Roghair&#8217;s time was four seconds slower than her seed time and we will see how much she is saving for the finals.<\/p>\n<p>Virginia sophomore<strong> Cavan Gormsen<\/strong> took the second seed in 4:35.60, two seconds better than her seed time.<\/p>\n<p>Virginia freshman <strong>Katie Grimes<\/strong> was third at 4:37.84, though her time is five seconds slower than her seed time, which should set up a pretty interesting race with Roghair in the finals.<\/p>\n<pre><b>Event 9  Women 500 Yard Lloyd<\/strong> took the second seed in 4:14.13, four seconds ahead of his previous best.<\/p>\n<p>Virginia freshman <strong>David King<\/strong> dropped two seconds to reach 4:14.18 and take the
