Aided by two relay DQs from the fifth-ranked Gators, the Florida State women scored a 161-138 victory in the meet swum at Florida Aquatics Swimming &amp; Training in Ocala.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/s3.us-east-2.amazonaws.com\/sidearm.nextgen.sites\/fsuni.sidearmsports.com\/documents\/2025\/1\/31\/FSU-UF_Results_-_013125.pdf?timestamp=20250131114620\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Meet Results<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.swimmingworldmagazine.com\/meet\/acc-swimming\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">ACC Swimming News<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.swimmingworldmagazine.com\/meet\/sec-swimming\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">SEC Swimming News<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Arkhangelskiy, a freshman, wrapped up his day by going 46.21 in the 100 butterfly to beat <strong>Josh Liendo<\/strong> (46.42) and lead three Seminoles in the top four. <strong>Magnus Christensen <\/strong>(3:50.68) and <strong>Calvin Wise<\/strong> followed with a 1-2 in the 400 individual medley, which meant just a second-place finish in the concluding 200 free relay was enough to guide FSU to the victory.<\/p>\n<p>Arkhangelskiy won the 50 freestyle in 19.65, with teammate <strong>Sam Bork<\/strong> second. He went 42.51 to win the 100 free. Arkhangelskiy swam butterfly on the winning 200 medley relay, teaming with <strong>Mason Herbet, Tommaso Baravelli<\/strong> and <strong>Jokubas Keblys.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Andrew Rich<\/strong> did the backstroke double for Florida State, with Herbet second in the 100. <strong>Logan Robinson<\/strong> claimed the 200 fly and was third in the 100 fly. <strong>Yordan Yanchev<\/strong> was quickest in the 500 free.<\/p>\n<p>Florida swept the diving events, with <strong>Peyton Donald<\/strong> scoring 392.78 points on 1-meter and <strong>Jesus Gonzalez<\/strong> claiming 3-meter with a score of 355.73.<\/p>\n<p>The Gators started strong with a 1-2-3 in the mile, led by <strong>Luke Corey.<\/strong> Liendo followed by winning the 200 free in 1:35.29 with <strong>Paul Dardis<\/strong> second. But it fell part from there.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Raphael Rached Windmuller<\/strong> swept the breaststroke events. Liendo, <strong>Julian Smith, Alex Painter<\/strong> and <strong>Ed Fullum-Huot<\/strong> edged out the win in the 200 free relay at 1:18.69.<\/p>\n<p>On the women\u2019s side, Florida State sealed the win with a 1-2-3 sweep in the 100 fly. <strong>Edith Jernstedt<\/strong> led the way with a time of 52.50, compounding her win in the 200 fly. <strong>Jenny Halden<\/strong> and <strong>Sophie Freeman<\/strong> followed. Freeman was also third in the 200 fly.<\/p>\n<p>Halden helped the Seminoles get off on the right foot by winning the 200 medley relay. She teamed with <strong>Alice Velden, Maddy Huggins<\/strong> and <strong>Gloria Muzito.<\/strong> Velden claimed the 100 back in 53.17. Huggins won the 100 breast in 1:00.79 with teammate <strong>Julia Mansson<\/strong> second, and the duo replicated that finish in the 200 breast. Muzito\u2019s time of 22.81 won the 50 free with teammate <strong>Maryn McDade<\/strong> second, and they were second and third, respectively, in the 100 free. McDade, Jernstedt, Halden and Muzito combined to win the 200 free relay.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Anna Auld<\/strong> started the Gators out with a win in the 1,650 free. <strong>Bella Sims<\/strong> won the 200 free in 1:46.00, leading a podium sweep with <strong>Emma Weyant<\/strong> and <strong>Lainy Kruger.<\/strong> Sims won the 100 free, and Kruger claimed the 500 with <strong>JoJo Ramey<\/strong> second. <strong>Catie Choate<\/strong> (200 back) and <strong>Sofia Plaza<\/strong> (400 IM) added wins.<\/p>\n<p>Florida lost points with its B medley relay and A free relay both DQed for early takeoffs.<\/p>\n<p>Florida\u2019s <strong>Camyla Monroy<\/strong> swept diving, scoring 354.53 points on 3-meter and 324.68 on 1-meter.
