The Volunteers boast a quartet that should make significant noise at the Southeastern Conference Championships, and then the NCAA Champs. This week, the Social Kick Podcast welcomed Tennessee&#8217;s potent relay foursome to discuss the recent World Short Course Championships and the college scene.<\/p>\n<p>Joining the Social Kick crew were Jordan Crooks, Gui Caribe, Nikoli Blackman and Lamar Taylor. It is a unique international group, with Caribe hailing from Brazil and Crooks (Cayman Islands), Blackman (Trinidad &amp; Tobago) and Taylor (Bahamas) representing Caribbean nations. All four athletes raced at the World Short Course Champs, where Crooks (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.swimmingworldmagazine.com\/news\/flash-jordan-crooks-visits-uncharted-territory-blasts-wr-and-goes-sub-20-in-50-freestyle-at-world-champs\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">world record<\/a>) and Caribe went gold-silver in the 50 freestyle. Meanwhile, Blackman and Taylor posted personal-best times, and gathered momentum for the collegiate postseason.<\/p>\n<p>Social Kick hosts Luke Paddington and John Mullen had a good time chatting with the Tennessee sprint group, and covered topics such as how the foursome arrived in Knoxville and what training looks like for the Volunteers.
