Georgia Tech walked away with wins of 250-43 over Carson-Newman on the men\u2019s side and 243-42 on the women\u2019s. Auburn did not score out a meet against CN.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/ramblinwreck.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/01\/Results-GT-vs-Auburn-vs-CNU.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Meet Results<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.swimmingworldmagazine.com\/meet\/sec-swimming\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">SEC Swimming News<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.swimmingworldmagazine.com\/meet\/acc-swimming\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">ACC Swimming News<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Nevmovenko started Auburn off strong by winning the 200 freestyle in 1:46.41. She also took home the 100 free in 48.98, then led off the Tigers\u2019 winning 400 free relay in 49.19.<\/p>\n<p>She led a freestyle sweep from the Tigers in Atlanta. <strong>Julia Strojnowska<\/strong> went 9:51.28 to win the 1,000, then 4:51.20 to capture the 500. The 50 went to <strong>Lexi Mulvihill<\/strong> in 22.50. She anchored victorious 200 medley and 400 free relays and also finished third in the 100 back behind Nevmovenko.<\/p>\n<p>Freshman <strong>Lora Komoroczy<\/strong> led off the winning 200 medley relay, then won the 100 back in 52.72. She was second in the 200 individual medley (to teammate <strong>Audrey Crawford\u2019s<\/strong> 2:01.25) and third in the 100 fly. That event was won by <strong>Morgan Carteaux,<\/strong> who edged out A relay swimmer <strong>Abigail Gibbons<\/strong> by .3 seconds in 52.82. <strong>Staysa Makarova<\/strong> followed the medley relay with the top time in the 100 breast at 1:00.14.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Carissa Rinard<\/strong> won the 200 fly over Gibbons and Crawford, who captured the 200 breast in addition to the 200 IM. <strong>Kyliegh Kidd<\/strong> finished second on 1-meter diving before winning 3-meter with a score of 339.75.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Anna Bradescu<\/strong> won 1-meter diving for Georgia Tech by less than three points with a score of 284.55. The Yellow Jackets\u2019 other win was via <strong>Phoebe Wright<\/strong> in the 200 fly, her time of 1:56.61 edging Auburn\u2019s <strong>Maggie McGuire<\/strong> by .02 seconds in the best race of the day. <strong>Sophie Murphy<\/strong> was second in the 100 free and third in the 200 and 500.<\/p>\n<p>On the men\u2019s side, Stoffle showed the way to victory. He led off the Tigers\u2019 triumphant 200 medley relay, then went 46.11 to best the field in the 100 back by nearly 1.5 seconds. He finished off the backstroke double in 1:42.79. He was denied a third win by teammate <strong>Sohib Khaled,<\/strong> whose 47.29 edged Stoffle by .13 seconds.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Kalle Makinen,<\/strong> part of both winning relays, was the quickest of three sub-20 50 freestylers in 19.74. He edged out <strong>Logan Tirheimer,<\/strong> who was on both winning relays and later won the 100 free in 43.65, with <strong>Ryan Husband<\/strong> second (as he was in the 200 free) and Makinen third. Makinen, Husband and Tirheimer joined 200 free champ <strong>Jon Vanzandt<\/strong> for the 400 free relay win.<\/p>\n<p>Auburn swept the podium in both the 1,000 and 500 free, <strong>Mason Mathias<\/strong> leading <strong>Michael Bonson<\/strong> and <strong>Grant Davis<\/strong> in both. <strong>Danny Schmidt<\/strong> won the 200 fly and was second in the 200 IM, while <strong>Britton Spann<\/strong> claimed the 100 breast.<\/p>\n<p>Georgia Tech swept diving via <strong>Max Fowler,<\/strong> who scored 379.50 on 1-meter and 405.30 on 3-meter. <strong>Berke Saka<\/strong> built on a runner-up finish in the 100 back and third in the 200 back to win the 200 IM in 1:46.20, .01 ahead of Schmidt. <strong>Uros Zivanovic<\/strong> blasted a time of 52.70 to win
