Carmel High School Opens New State-of-the-Art Pool (See Images of Spectacular Facility)<\/strong><\/p>\n

Carmel High School recently unveiled its upgraded aquatic complex, a spectacular facility that has already played host to the Greyhounds in competition. The complex serves not only the high school’s high-powered programs, but also the Carmel community, and will be beneficial to a multitude of individuals – athletes, beginners, Masters swimmers, health seekers, etc.<\/p>\n

A 50-meter competition pool is the focal point of the facility and offers features that are found in international-level pools. Its addition, combined with previous pool space, will allow a greater number of Carmel community members to use the facility. In addition to the long-course pool, a separate diving well was constructed and will enable Carmel to host not only meets for swimming, but also for diving. According to<\/a> Carmel Monthly Magazine,<\/em> a hydrotherapy pool is also available to provide individuals a space for recovery from injury or relaxation.<\/p>\n

Enhancements were made to the seating at the natatorium, with the facility now able to accommodate up to 1400 spectators for competitions. There is also a digital record board that will make changing records after they are broken are an easy process.<\/p>\n
