Their assessment considers head-to-head dual meet outcomes, recent performances since the last rankings, season-long results, dual meet records, roster changes (such as injuries), and data from the SwimCloud Simulator. It’s important to note that the poll’s objective is not to predict the top finishers in a championship meet format.

Texas (375) secured every first-place vote, solidifying their hold on the top spot in this month’s men’s poll. Indiana (346), Arizona State (342), and Florida (335) occupy the second, third, and fourth spots, respectively, with only 11 points separating them. Cal (316) rounds out the top five. Notable movements include Michigan (13), Southern California (16), and Virginia (17), each climbing four spots in the rankings. SMU was the sole program to break into the top 25 after being unranked in last month’s poll. Overall, 30 schools from six conferences received votes.

Top-ranked Virginia (425) once again earned every first-place vote, maintaining their position in the December women’s poll. Texas (408) claimed every second-place vote, securing their spot at number two, while Stanford (389) rounded out the top three. Florida (375) and Tennessee (357) complete the top five. Michigan (7) climbed four spots to enter the top 10, while Florida State was the only new addition to the top 25 in December. A total of 30 teams from five conferences received votes.

Dual meet records are sourced from each institution’s website.

For a complete list of the rankings, visit: www.cscaa.org/top25.

Each committee consists of 12 representatives from Power Four leagues and at-large programs.
