The Canadian teen sensation will swim the 400 free, 200 backstroke, 200 butterfly and 400 IM, opting out of the 200 IM, one of her golden events in Paris this summer.<\/p>\n<p>Douglass also has a full lineup with the 50 and 100 freestyles, 50 butterfly 100 IM, 200 IM and 200 breaststroke. She is the defending world champion in the 200 breaststroke and 200 IM.<\/p>\n<p>The U.S. will have some fun showdowns between Douglass, the Walsh sisters and Regan Smith.<\/p>\n<p>The U.S. team will be led by J<strong>ack Alexy, Michael Andrew, Phoebe Bacon, Katharine Berkoff, Carson Foster, Katie Grimes, Chris Guiliano, Zach Harting, Luke Hobson, Lilly King, Paige Madden, Dare Rose, Kieran Smith<\/strong> and <strong>Claire Weinstein<\/strong>, with plenty of young stars joining them.<\/p>\n<p>McIntosh will be joined by Canadian stars <strong>Mary-Sophie Harve<\/strong>y, who had a sensational World Cup, <strong>Ilya Kharun, Finlay Knox, Kylie Masse, Penny Oleksiak, Sydney Pickrem<\/strong> and <strong>Ingrid Wilm.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Australia will have <strong>Lani Pallister, Alex Perkins<\/strong> and <strong>Elijah Winnington<\/strong> leading a young group at the Short Course meet.<\/p>\n<p>Other international stars include <strong>Siobhan Haughey, Jordan Crooks, Youssef Ramadan, Beryl Gastaldello, Freya Anderson, Ben Proud, Abbie Wood, Florian Wellbrock, Nyls Korstanje, Kira Toussaint, Kasia Wasick, Daiya Seto, Danas Rapsys Chad le Clos<\/strong> and <strong>Simona Quadarella<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Notable absences include <strong>Leon Marchand, Torri Huske<\/strong> and <strong>Kristof Milak<\/strong>, who have withdrawn recently, plus stars like <strong>Katie Ledecky, Sarah Sjostrom<\/strong> and <strong>Kyle Chalmers, <\/strong>among others,\u00a0taking a post-Olympic break.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Entry lists for the 2024 Short Course World Championships have been released by World Aquatics.
