Gammon was one of six British winners Friday evening.<\/p>\n<p>In a British sweep of the men&#8217;s 100 fly,<strong>\u00a0Gammon<\/strong> blasted the second half to pull away from\u00a0<strong>Jacob Peters<\/strong>. Gammon blocked 52.80, with Peters (53.93) holding off\u00a0<strong>Dean Fearn<\/strong> for (54.05) for the runnerup spot. Meanwhile, Germany&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Sandra Maria Balto<\/strong> held off British swimmers <strong>Skye Carter<\/strong> and\u00a0<strong>Theodora Taylor<\/strong> in the women&#8217;s 100 fly, with Balto going 1:00.25 ahead of Carter&#8217;s 1:00.56 and Taylor&#8217;s 1:00.94.<\/p>\n<p>In the women&#8217;s 400 IM, Belgium&#8217;s <strong>Sarah Dumont<\/strong> pulled narrowly ahead of Hungary&#8217;s <strong>Eszter Szabo Felthothy<\/strong> on the breaststroke leg and ended up winning by more than a half-second, 4:46.20 to 4:46.89, with Great Britain&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Amalie Smith<\/strong> third in 4:48.09. The men&#8217;s 400 IM went to Spain&#8217;s <strong>Cristobal Vargas Trujillo<\/strong> in 4:22.58, ahead of Britain&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Edward Marcal Whittles<\/strong> (4:24.15) and the Netherlands&#8217;\u00a0<strong>Yanieck Weijland<\/strong> (4:25.58).<\/p>\n<p>Great Britain&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Blythe Kinsman<\/strong> finished less than a tenth ahead of\u00a0<strong>Jinth Engelse<\/strong> in the women&#8217;s 50 backstroke, 28.59 to 28.68, with Spain&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Estella Tonrath Nollgen<\/strong> third (29.31). The men&#8217;s event went to <strong>Scott Gibson\u00a0<\/strong>in 25.52, with a tie for second in 25.65 between two of his British countrymen,\u00a0<strong>Cameron Brooker<\/strong> and\u00a0<strong>Jake Skerry<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Britain&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Kara Halon<\/strong> clocked 2:27.16 for a dominant win in the women&#8217;s 200 breaststroke, with the Netherlands&#8217;\u00a0<strong>Djanilla Brink<\/strong> holding off Britain&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Charlotte Bianchi<\/strong> for second, 2:32.65 to 2:32.82.\u00a0<strong>Max Morgan\u00a0<\/strong>finished one second clear of the field in the men&#8217;s 200 breast, clocking 2:12.69, while his fellow Briton\u00a0<strong>Filip Nowacki<\/strong> edged Germany&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Christoffer Haarsaker<\/strong> for second, 2:13.62 to 2:13.75.<\/p>\n<p>Great Britain&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Amelie Blocksidge<\/strong> finished more than 21 seconds ahead of the field in the women&#8217;s 1500 freestyle, her time of 16:25.31 beating out Britain&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Leah Crisp<\/strong> (16:46.51) and Spain&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Clara Martinez De Salinas Pena<\/strong> (16:48.49).<\/p>\n<p>German swimmers went 1-3 in the men&#8217;s 1500, with <strong>Moritz Erkmann<\/strong> winning a race against Vargas Trujillo, who swam this less than two hours after winning the 400 IM. Erkmann clocked 15:24.36, less than two tenths clear of Vargas Trujillo&#8217;s 15:24.53. German\u00a0<strong>Johannes Liebmann<\/strong> took third in 15:31.59.<\/p>\n<p>In para events, the Netherlands&#8217; <strong>Lisa Kruger<\/strong> (S10) won the women&#8217;s 50 back in 32.71, with fellow Dutch swimmer <strong>Thomas van Wanrooij<\/strong> (S13) topping the men&#8217;s in 28.24. The 100 fly winners were the Netherlands&#8217;\u00a0<strong>Liesette Bruinsma<\/strong> (S11, 1:20.65) and the Netherlands&#8217;\u00a0<strong>Rogier Dorsman<\/strong> (S11, 1:05.82).<\/p>\n<p><a
