Her time of 1:59.51 in the 200 individual medley set the DeNunzio Pool record. She also won the 200 backstroke in 1:57.58 and was second to teammate <strong>Heidi Smithwick<\/strong> in the 200 butterfly, both Sun\u2019s time of 1:58.83 and Smithwick\u2019s winning 1:57.85 accounting for the only two NCAA B cuts of the day.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/goprincetontigers.com\/documents\/2024\/11\/16\/Results.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Meet Results<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.swimmingworldmagazine.com\/meet\/big-ten-swimming\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Big Ten Swimming<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.swimmingworldmagazine.com\/meet\/ivy-league-swimming\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Ivy League Swimming<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Beyond Sun, Princeton turned the meet with its sprint depth. <strong>Ela Noble<\/strong> clocked in at 22.89 seconds to win the 50 freestyle, a 1-2-3 result with <strong>Veronique Rossouw<\/strong> and <strong>Isabella Korbly<\/strong> following. Noble was second in the 100 free to <strong>Jenna Walters\u2019<\/strong> time of 49.96, with <strong>Nicole De Pree<\/strong> third.<\/p>\n<p>Noble, De Pree, Smithwick and Rossouw helped the Tigers swim away with the 200 free relay. Sun swam breaststroke on the winning Tigers\u2019 medley relay, with Korbly, <strong>Margaret Hayes<\/strong> and De Pree.<\/p>\n<p>Smithwick went 4:54.10 to win the 500 free ahead of teammate <strong>Emily Appleton.<\/strong> Walters added a second win in the 200 free in1 :49.04, with Rossouw third. Korbly was also third in the 200 back. Rossouw won the 100 fly in 54.64. <strong>Charlotte Martinkus<\/strong> swept diving for the Tigers, the only one to top 300 points on 1-meter, followed by a score of 346.35 on 3-meter.<\/p>\n<p>Rutgers made a meet of it, especially early. <strong>Isabela Valle<\/strong> (10:14.76) and <strong>Orian Gablan<\/strong> went 1-2 in the 1,000 free. <strong>Sofia Bartoloni<\/strong> reigned in breaststroke, she and <strong>Molly Urkiel<\/strong> going 1-2 in both races. Rutgers went 1-2 in three of the first four races, with the 1,000 free and 100 breast surrounding <strong>Martyna Piesko\u2019s<\/strong> swim of 55.09 in the 100 back. But Bartoloni\u2019s wins were the only two in the final 10 events for the Scarlet Knights.<\/p>\n<p>The Princeton men <a href=\"https:\/\/goprincetontigers.com\/news\/2024\/11\/15\/mens-swimming-and-diving-no-25-breaks-five-pool-records-in-victory-over-columbia\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">on Friday defeated<\/a> Columbia, 168-132. Freshman <strong>Patrick Dinu<\/strong> went 42.91 to erase a Percy Uris Natatorium record set by Harvard\u2019s <strong>Dean Farris. Mitch Schott<\/strong> went 1:42.22 in the 200 fly to slice 5.5 seconds off Columbia\u2019s pool record and add the second-fastest time in program history.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"en\">Hey look! Schott led off the latter. <strong>Logan Noguchi<\/strong> and <strong>Yanning Zhang<\/strong> were on both, Zhang going 47.13 for the 100 back pool
