Days later, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.swimmingworldmagazine.com\/news\/archie-goodburn-wins-50m-breaststroke-in-edinburgh-days-after-revealing-brain-tumour-diagnosis\/\">he won the 50m breaststroke title<\/a> at the <strong>Scottish National Open Championships<\/strong> in Edinburgh.<\/p>\n<p>The 23-year-old was part of the Great Britain men&#8217;s 4&#215;50 medley relay that won silver at last year&#8217;s short-course Europeans in Romania and he will reunite with <strong>Oli Morgan<\/strong> and <strong>Jacob Peters<\/strong> with <strong>Matt Richards <\/strong>the only member of the quartet not present in Budapest.<\/p>\n<p>Peters missed out on the Olympics after finishing third in the trials where there&#8217;d been a degree of expectation that he would qualify after posting the swiftest time in prelims.<\/p>\n<p>Also selected is <strong>Max Litchfield<\/strong>, who finished fourth in the 400IM in Paris for the third straight Games, and <strong>Josh Gammon<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Blocksidge makes her senior debut at 15 after winning multiple European junior titles in the pool and open water.
