The Kyrgyz Olympian also was part of the winning 200 medley relay squad.<\/p>\n<p>Third in the 200 breast was Bried, with his <a href=\"https:\/\/www.swimmingworldmagazine.com\/news\/swimming-for-late-brother-louisvilles-tommy-bried-has-unforgettable-trials\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">unusually broad area of specialty<\/a>. Bried went 3:44.36 to beat teammate <strong>Gregg Enoch<\/strong> by more than four seconds in the 400 individual medley. He also won the 200 fly in 1:44.06.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/gocards.com\/documents\/2024\/11\/8\/24_UofL-Purdue_Results.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Meet Results<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.swimmingworldmagazine.com\/meet\/acc-swimming\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">ACC Swimming News<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.swimmingworldmagazine.com\/meet\/big-ten-swimming\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Big Ten Swimming News<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The Cardinals got an early 1-2-3 sweep in the 200 free, led by <strong>Murilo Sartori<\/strong> (1:34.73) and Enoch. <strong>Charlie Crush\u2019s<\/strong> time of 19.78 led the way in the 50 free. Enoch won the 500 free in 4:20.32 over 1,000 free winner <strong>Elijah Shoyat. Aidan Paro<\/strong> (100 fly) and <strong>Jackson Millard<\/strong> (200 back) chipped in wins in the back half of the meet.<\/p>\n<p>Purdue\u2019s bright spot was in diving. <strong>Jordan Rzepka<\/strong> was outstanding, particularly on his 3-meter specialty. He scored 412.95 points to destroy the Ralph Wright Natatorium record held since 2011 by <strong>Ryan Helms<\/strong> at 399.25. Rzepka also scored 369.00 to win 1-meter, with teammate <strong>Maxwell Miller<\/strong> second in both.<\/p>\n<p>In the pool, <strong>Brady Samuels<\/strong> supplied the Boilermakers\u2019 only two victories. He went 46.83 in the 100 back to edge Millard by .13 seconds.
