Louisville won the 200 freestyle relay to start the meet, going 1:27.70, but the Notre Dame quartet was close behind in 1:27.84. The quartet of <strong>Hollie Widdows, Jess Geriane, Imogen Meers<\/strong> and <strong>Madelyn Christman<\/strong> took down by .97 seconds the 2018 school record.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/gocards.com\/documents\/2024\/11\/9\/notre_dame_vs_louisville_full_results.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Meet Results<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.swimmingworldmagazine.com\/meet\/acc-swimming\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">ACC Swimming News<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The rest of the day belonged to Louisville, almost to a race. Golovaty led a 1-2-3 result in the 200 free with a winning time of 1:44.93, edging teammate <strong>Fernanda Gomes Celidonio<\/strong> by .09 seconds. Golovaty was second to <strong>Gabi Albiero\u2019s<\/strong> 48.76 in the 100 free, then the freshman won the 500 in 4:43.13.<\/p>\n<p>Hetrick did the backstroke double, winning the 100 in 52.79 and the 200 in 1:53.74. Christman was second in both.<\/p>\n<p>Gomes Celidonio won the 200 individual medley in 1:57.50 after having been second in the 100 IM to <strong>Ella Welch.<\/strong> Welch and Albiero, who also won the 100 butterfly, was on Louisville\u2019s winning 200 free relay. That squad was anchored by <strong>Julia Dennis,<\/strong> who went 21.98 to edge Welch in the 50 free. Dennis anchored the winning 200 medley relay. She and Welch were on the victorious 400 free relay, as well, with <strong>Caroline Larsen<\/strong> the only swimmer on all three winning relays.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Mia Cheatwood<\/strong> swept breaststroke. <strong>Tristen Ulett<\/strong> won the 200 fly and was second in the 200 IM.<\/p>\n<p>Notre Dame\u2019s only individual win came in the 1,000 free, thanks to <strong>Maggie Graves\u2019<\/strong> time of 9:50.14. Teammate <strong>Sophia Karras<\/strong> was second. Widdows finished second in the 100 fly, and <strong>Mary Cate Pruitt<\/strong> was the runner-up in the 500.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Paige Hetrick, Daria Golovaty Lead
