Minnesota has remained undefeated in home dual and tri-meets throughout the 2024-24 season so far.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;It&#8217;s always good to get a win in the B1G,&#8221; said head coach <strong>Kelly Kremer<\/strong>. &#8220;We are coming off a pretty challenging stretch of meets and training, and I thought all things considered, we performed well.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Minnesota claimed both relay wins on the day. The 200 free relay team, made up of <strong>Morgan Thomas, Hannah Cornish, Livi Wanner<\/strong>, and <strong>Mina Kaljevic,<\/strong> won with a time of 1:33.35. The 400 free relay team, made up of <strong>Paula Rodriguez Rivero, Ava Goodno, Morgan Thomas,<\/strong> and <strong>Mina<\/strong> <strong>Kaljevic<\/strong>, won with a time of 3:45.23.<\/p>\n<p>Eleven different Maroon and Gold swimmers picked up individual wins against Iowa: <strong>Eliot<\/strong> <strong>Kennedy<\/strong> in the 1000 free (10:08.19), <strong>Hannah Cornish<\/strong> in the 200 free (1:49.61), <strong>Paula Rodriguez<\/strong> Rivero in the 100 breast (56.12), <strong>Rachel Conley<\/strong> in the 200 butterfly (2:02.43), <strong>Livi Wanner<\/strong> in the 50 free (23.50), <strong>Morgan Thomas<\/strong> in the 100 free (50.80), <strong>Elise Jacobs<\/strong> in the 200 back (2:01.67), <strong>Katie McKarthy<\/strong> in the 500 free (4:56.55), and <strong>Mina Kaljevic<\/strong> in the 100 butterfly (55.83).<\/p>\n<p>Iowa claimed both the 1-meter and 3-meter dives. Minnesota sophomore <strong>Vivi Del Angel<\/strong> took second in the 3-meter and third in the 1-meter.<\/p>\n<p>Both the Gopher men&#8217;s and women&#8217;s swimming and diving squads will close out the fall season with the annual Minnesota Invitational at Jean K. Freeman Aquatic Center. The Invitational will run from Dec. 4-7.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.swimmingworldmagazine.com\/news\/category\/college\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">More College News<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Iowa collected five individual wins. Sophomore\u00a0<strong>Olivia Swalley<\/strong>\u00a0accounted for three of the Hawkeyes\u2019\u00a0victories in the 100 (1:03.48) and 200 (2:17.51) breaststroke,\u00a0respectively, as well as the 400 IM (4:17.46). Senior diver\u00a0<strong>Makayla Hughbanks<\/strong>\u00a0contributed to the other wins for Iowa.
