During the World Cup tour, Marchand set a world record in the 200 individual medley, a suggestion that big performances might be on the horizon in Budapest.<\/p>\n<p>Gastaldello, Grousset and <strong>Mewen Tomac <\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.swimmingworldmagazine.com\/news\/beryl-gastaldello-sets-national-100-back-record-among-golden-campaign-at-french-short-course-championships\/\">dominated the spotlight<\/a> in the four-time Olympic champion&#8217;s absence with the trio all making the trip to Hungary.<\/p>\n<p>France team captain <strong>Florent Manaudou<\/strong> will not be competing in Budapest,
