The women defeated the Big Red, 180-115, and the men won, 182-116.<\/p>\n<p><b>Ohio State Women\u2019s Meet Notes<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The Buckeyes opened the meet with a victory in the 200 medley relay, with the team of<strong> Susie Lee, Ava DeAngelis, Nyah Funderburke<\/strong> and <strong>Erin Little<\/strong> finishing in 1:41.50.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Sienna Angove<\/strong> (4:53.12), <strong>Gwen Woodbury<\/strong> (4:55.10) and <strong>Lucy Malys<\/strong> (4:57.09) finished 1-2-3 in the 500 free.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Mila Nikanorov<\/strong> won the 200 free, touching the wall at 1:49.95. <strong>Elise Nardozzi<\/strong> (1:51.48) placed second and <strong>Julia Bartoszewicz<\/strong> (1:53.36) placed third.<\/li>\n<li>Funderburke swam a 24.73 in the 50 back to win the event. <strong>Teresa Ivan<\/strong> (26.19), <strong>Krista<\/strong> <strong>Marlin<\/strong> (26.44) and <strong>Annie Krusinski<\/strong> (26.58) finished second, third and fourth, respectively.<\/li>\n<li>DeAngelis took the top spot in the 50 breast with a time of 29.19.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Paige Hall<\/strong> (55.44),<strong> Jessica Eden<\/strong> (56.01) and <strong>Tia Lindsay<\/strong> (56.98) went 1-2-3 in the 100 fly.<\/li>\n<li>Ivan won the 50 free with a time of 23.08 for Ohio State. Little (23.25) was second, <strong>Rachel Bockrath<\/strong> (23.28) was third and Maria Ramos (23.59) was fourth.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Paola Pineda Vazquez<\/strong> won the 3-meter dive with a score of 341.10. Michelle Mazzara (329.40) placed second and <strong>Mia Prusiecki<\/strong> (310.80) placed third. All three scores are NCAA Zones qualifiers.<\/li>\n<li>Little was the winner of the 100 free with a time of 50.33. Nardozzi (52.57) was second and <strong>Erin Fentress<\/strong> (53.36) was third.<\/li>\n<li>Hall picked up another win in the 100 back, touching the wall at 55.20. Bockrath (55.38) and Marlin (55.85) finished second and third.<\/li>\n<li>In the 1-meter dive, <strong>Pineda Vazquez<\/strong> once again earned the win. She had a score of 339.30. Prusiecki (279.38) and Mazzara (267.60) placed second and third, respectively. All three of their scores qualify them for NCAA Zones.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.swimmingworldmagazine.com\/news\/category\/college\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">More College News<\/a><\/p>\n<p><b>Ohio State Men\u2019s Meet Notes<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The 200 medley relay team of<strong> Brody Marcet, Will Bansberg, Matt Klinge<\/strong> and Daniel Baltes picked up the first win of the night for the men, turning in a time of 1:29.94.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Jordi Vilchez<\/strong> picked up his first collegiate win, taking first place in the 500 free with a time of 4:28.20.<\/li>\n<li>The 200 free went to <strong>Alex Metzler<\/strong>; he touched the wall at 1:36.79. <strong>Cornelius Jahn<\/strong> (1:38.66), <strong>TJ Frost<\/strong> (1:39.36) and Sam Campbell (1:41.43) followed Vilchez.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Jo Roth<\/strong> earned his first collegiate win, placing first in the 50 back with a time of 23.40 for Ohio State. The next four finishers were Caleb Ellis (23.60), <strong>Krys Gorski<\/strong> (23.73), Baltes (24.33) and Xavier Washington (24.59).<\/li>\n<li><strong>Karl Helmuth<\/strong> won the 50 breast with a time of 25.62. <strong>Rylan McDaniel<\/strong> placed second with a time of 25.78.<\/li>\n<li>Vilchez (49.76),<strong> Eli Stoll<\/strong> (50.07),<strong> Mario McDonald<\/strong> (50.12) and Bansberg (50.16) finished 1-2-3-4 in the 100 fly.<\/li>\n<li>Klinge placed second in the 50 free with a time of 20.84 and<strong> Tim Brown<\/strong> placed third with a time of 21.15.<\/li>\n<li>On the 3-meter springboard, <strong>Kylie Flory<\/strong> was the winner with a score of 369.38. Dom Roberto (343.50) placed second and <strong>Tyler Read<\/strong> (313.20) placed third. All three scores qualify them for NCAA Zones.<\/li>\n<li>Jahn won the 100 free with a time of 45.28. Second place went to <strong>Evan Fentress<\/strong> (45.34), third was Vilchez (45.62) and fourth was <strong>TJ Frost<\/strong> (45.75).<\/li>\n<li>Roth earned another victory for Ohio State, this time in the 100 back with a time of 49.08. Bansberg placed second with a time of 50.45 and <strong>Luke Paxton<\/strong> placed third with a time of 50.59.<\/li>\n<li>McDaniel took first place in the 100 breast, finishing in 55.41.<\/li>\n<li>Flory was also victorious on the 1-meter board with a score of 353.93. Read (339.30) was second and Roberto (307.35) was third. All three scores are NCAA Zones qualifiers.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Up Next for Ohio State<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Next week, the Buckeyes hit the road, heading to Blacksburg, Va. for a two-day dual meet against Virginia Tech Nov. 1-2.
