Mena Boardman Will Become A Longhorn After 2026 Verbal Commitment<\/strong><\/p>\n

NEW COMMIT:\u00a0<\/strong>The University of Texas has been on a roll this recruiting cycle, having recently earned a new verbal pledge for Fall 2026 from Olympic Trials qualifier Mena Boardman\u00a0<\/strong>of Portland, Oregon.<\/p>\n

She will join\u00a0Avery Klamforth<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong>and Sydney Shoeck<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong>in Austin as a member of the Longhorns\u2019 Class of 2030.<\/p>\n

Regarding her commitment, she said:<\/p>\n

\u201cI am so excited to announce my verbal commitment to continue my athletic and academic careers at the University of Texas. I want to thank my friends, family, coaches, and everyone who has supported me throughout my swimming career. So grateful for the opportunity to become a longhorn. HOOK \u2018EM”<\/strong><\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

A versatile swimmer, Boardman trains year-round with SOLO Aquatics in New Hampshire where she attends school. When back home in Oregon, she trains with Portland Aquatic Club.<\/p>\n

Boardman raced the 100m fly this past summer at Olympic Trials before going on to win four events at Mount Hood Sectionals. Last December, she she was crowned the New England Senior champion in the 50 free, 100 free and 100 fly.<\/p>\n
