Texas Lands 2026 Verbal From Juniors Finalist Avery Klamfoth<\/strong><\/p>\n

NEW COMMIT:\u00a0<\/strong>Olympic Trials qualifier\u00a0Avery Klamforth\u00a0<\/strong>of Charlotte, North Carolina, has announced her intention to continue her academic and swimming career at the University of Texas beginning in Fall 2026.<\/p>\n

She will join\u00a0Sydney Shoeck<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong>in Austin as a member of the Longhorns’ Class of 2030.<\/p>\n

Regarding her commitment, she said:<\/p>\n

\u201cI am blessed and honored to announce my verbal commitment to continue my athletic and academic careers at the University of Texas!!! First, I thank the Lord for His unwavering guidance and grace during this process. A big thank you to my family, coaches, and friends for always supporting me!!! Y\u2019all are such blessings. I am so grateful for the coaching staff at Texas for believing in me! I can\u2019t wait to be a LONGHORN!!!!! Klamforth does her club swimming with SwimMAC Carolina and raced both IM events at Olympic Trials this past summer before going on to take 10th in both of those events at Speedo Summer Championships. She earned bronze in the 200 breast at Juniors East last December where she also took sixth in the 400 IM and seventh in the 100 breast.<\/p>\n
