Ava De Anda Remains In State With 2026 Verbal To Cal Golden Bears<\/strong><\/p>\n

NEW COMMIT:\u00a0<\/strong>The University of California, Berkeley has earned another big verbal commitment for its Class of 2026 recruiting from in-state standout Ava de Anda\u00a0<\/strong>of Riverside, California.<\/p>\n

She will join\u00a0Isabel Wolk<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong>as a member of the Golden Bears’ Class of 2029.<\/p>\n

Regarding her commitment,<\/p>\n

\u201cProud to announce my verbal commitment to the University of California Berkeley! I am excited to pursue my academic and athletic career as a future bear. This has been an amazing journey and a big thank you to my family and friends, and to my coaches at RAA for their guidance to get here. A sprint freestyler, de Anda does her club swimming with Riverside Aquatics Association and last competed at Sacramento Futures where she earned gold in the 50m free and bronze in the 100m free. Last December, she finished third in the 50 free, fourth in the 100 free and sixth in the 200 free at Juniors West.<\/p>\n

She currently owns the second fastest 100 free time in the Class of 2026.<\/p>\n
