West Florida topped North Florida 214-79.<\/p>\n<p>It was the first meet for the Florida State after an earlier invitational was cancelled because of Hurricane Helene.<\/p>\n<p>The Seminoles won all but one of the events overall.<\/p>\n<p>Florida State&#8217;s <strong>Alice Velden, Julia Mansson, Mabry Bishop<\/strong> and <strong>Maryn McDade<\/strong> won the 200 medley relay to start the meet in 1:42.25.<\/p>\n<p>Bishop won the 100 butterfly (55.91).<\/p>\n<p>Florida State&#8217;s <strong>Maddy Huggins<\/strong> won the 200 free in 1:49.17 and 400 IM (4:16.94).<strong> Isabelle Barger<\/strong> won the 100 backstroke (57.60). <strong>Jenny Bird<\/strong> won the 200 butterfly (2:06.82).<strong> Sarah Evans<\/strong> won the 50 free (23.73). <strong>Edith Jernstedt<\/strong> won the 100 free (51.13). <strong>Karlee Marusik<\/strong> won the 200 back (2:05.30). <strong>Evelyn Hall<\/strong> won 1-meter diving (277.65). <strong>Evy Rierderer<\/strong> won the 100 breast (1:05.36). <strong>Julia Brzozowski<\/strong> won the 500 free (5:03.08).<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/Photo Courtesy: Florida State Athletics\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Florida Stat<\/a>e&#8217;s <strong>Gloria Muzito<\/strong>, McDade, <strong>Jenny Halden<\/strong> and Velden won the 200 free relay (1:34.34).<\/p>\n<p>West Florida&#8217;s <strong>Riley MacVane<\/strong> won the 1000 free in 10:24.15.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.swimmingworldmagazine.com\/news\/category\/college\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">More College News<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Florida State Women Swim to Sweep of West Florida, North Florida The Florida State women&#8217;s swimming and diving team hosted the Florida State invitational on Friday.
