To my parents&#8230;. no words can express how much your support means to me. I&#8217;m thrilled to be part of such an amazing swimming and academic community. I&#8217;m happy to have Coach Herbie as my next coach! #forksup&#8221;<\/strong><\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Albertyn does her club swimming with Seahawks Swim Club and capped off her summer season by winning all seven of her events at Ozark LCM Championships in July. Back in March, she earned bronze in the 200 back at Columbia Sectionals where she also placed sixth in the 100 free, eighth in the 200 free and 11th in the 100 back.<\/p>\n<p>Her best times include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>100 back &#8211; 55.42<\/li>\n<li>200 back &#8211; 1:57.73<\/li>\n<li>100 free &#8211; 50.63<\/li>\n<li>200 free &#8211; 1:49.31<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Currently a junior at O&#8217;Fallon High School, Albertyn took second in the 200 free and sixth in the 100 free at the 2023 Illinois State Championships as a sophomore. She won both of those events at the IHSA Edwardsville Sectional Championship the week prior.<\/p>\n<p>Arizona State now competes in the Big 12 Conference.
