Wolk has verbally committed to continue her academic and swimming career at Cal starting in Fall 2026.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Regarding her commitment, she said:<\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote><p><span style=\"color: #0000ff\"><strong>\u201cl am grateful and excited to announce my verbal commitment to continue my academic and athletic career at the University of California, Berkeley. Thank you to my family, coaches, and teammates for your continuous support. I would also like to thank the coaches at Cal for giving me this amazing opportunity. Go Bears!!\u201d<\/strong><\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Wolk trains year-round with <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">North Carolina Aquatic Club and last competed at the NCSA Summer Championships where she placed eighth in the 100m free. Last December, she raced to 18th in the 200 free at Juniors East.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">She also earned silver medals in the 200m free and 200m IM at the ESSZ Speedo Spring Championships in March. That was after she took third in the 1000 free and fifth in the 400 IM at North Carolina Seniors two weeks prior.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Her best times include:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">200 IM &#8211; 2:00.96<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">400 IM &#8211; 4:18.99<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">200 free &#8211; 1:47.49<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">500 free &#8211; 5:00.44<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">1000 free &#8211; 10:11.17<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Currently a junior at East Chapel Hill High School, Wolk placed second in the 200 free and third in the 100 free at the 2024 North Carolina 4A State Championships. She took fourth and sixth, respectively, in those events as a freshman.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">2024-25 marks Cal\u2019s first year competing in the Atlantic Coast Conference.
