He previously led Swimming Canada\u2019s High-Performance Centre in Vancouver, <a href=\"https:\/\/sirc.ca\/news\/brad-dingey-to-join-hpc-van-as-head-coach\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">starting in 2020<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Dingey, 54, had been the director of HPC Victoria, which closed in 2020. He took that job in 2015, taking over for <strong>Ryan Mallette<\/strong>. Dingey stayed at Victoria until January 2022, then moved to Singapore in September 2022. He worked with swimmers like <strong>Brent Hayden, Emily Overholt<\/strong> and <strong>Markus Thormeyer<\/strong> in Vancouver, while he was the direct coach for Tokyo Olympians <strong>Fan Hua-Li<\/strong> and <strong>Kate Sanderson.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>After years of success in Western Canada, his focus shifts to Quebec to a club that has produced <strong>Edouard Fullum-Huot, Patrick Hussey <\/strong>and <strong>Aela Janvier.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u201cHis skillset and values make him a welcomed addition to the Aquatic Club\u2019s team of passionate and experienced coaches, whose hard work and commitment over the past few years have demonstrated their desire to make the Pointe-Claire swimming program stand out in Quebec, across the country and on the international stage,\u201d the club wrote <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pointe-claire.ca\/en\/news\/appointment-of-brad-dingey-as-head-coach-of-the-pointe-claire-aquatic-club\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">in a press release<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The native of Stettler, Alberta, has been a coach for more than two decades. He spent 11 years as the head coach of the Pacific Sea Wolves Swim Club in South Surrey\/White Rock.
