Andrew “Boy”Charlton, Kieren Perkins And Priya Cooper Inducted Into Swimming Australia Hall Of Fame<\/strong><\/p>\n

Olympic 1500m freestyle legends, Manly\u2019s pioneering powerhouse Andrew \u201cBoy\u201d Charlton<\/strong> and Queensland \u201cSuperfish\u201d Kieren Perkins<\/strong> with WA\u2019s Paralympic golden girl Priya Cooper<\/strong> have today been unveiled as the latest inclusions into Swimming Australia\u2019s Hall of Fame in Brisbane.<\/p>\n

The trio become the ninth, tenth and 11th<\/sup> Hall of Fame inductees \u2013 joining original members Freddie Lane, Fanny Durack, Dawn Fraser, Shane Gould<\/strong> and Ian Thorpe<\/strong> from 2022 and 2023 inductees were Lorraine Crapp, Murray Rose<\/strong> and Susie O\u2019Neill.<\/strong><\/p>\n

And their unveiling comes as Australia’s latest Olympic and Paralympic \u00a0heroes from Paris were honoured at the 2024 Swimming Australia Awards function.<\/p>\n
