Katie Ledecky Leads Four 13-Timers on 2024-25 U.S. National Team<\/strong><\/p>\n

Katie Ledecky<\/strong> is one of four swimmers named to their 13th national team on Monday by USA Swimming. On the women\u2019s side, she\u2019s joined by Ashley (Twichell) Wall,<\/strong> the duo passing Allison Schmitt<\/strong> and Olivia Smoliga<\/strong> for the most honors ever.<\/p>\n

Chase Kalisz<\/strong> and Ryan Murphy<\/strong> are on the national team for the 13th time each on the men\u2019s side.<\/p>\n

The 2024-25 U.S. National Team, presented by Toyota, comprises 105 athletes from 33 states and 24 universities. It is based on results from Jan. 1, 2024 through Aug. 24, a span encompassing U.S. Olympic Team Trials and the Paris Olympics.<\/p>\n

\u201cAs we start the LA 2028 quad, we are thrilled to announce a roster of athletes who genuinely embody the best aspects of our sport,\u201d USA Swimming Interim Chief Executive Officer Shana Ferguson said in a press release<\/a>. \u201cThis team features a strong mix of veteran presence and emerging talent certain to showcase their USA Swimming club teams and universities at the highest levels of international competition.\u201d<\/p>\n
