NCAA Champion Max McHugh Retires, Joins Colorado College as Coach<\/strong><\/p>\n

NCAA breaststroke champion Max McHugh<\/strong> this week announced his retirement from swimming and that he is taking a job as an assistant coach at Colorado College.<\/p>\n

McHugh was a four-time NCAA champion in breaststroke at the University of Minnesota. He graduated in the spring of 2023 with a degree in psychology. He swam on through Olympic Trials in 2024, finishing 26th in the men\u2019s 100 breast. McHugh served as an assistant coach at the University of St. Thomas while continuing to train in 2023-24.<\/p>\n
