Bruno Fratus<\/strong> has turned his career toward coaching.<\/p>\n

The Brazilian Olympian has taken over as head coach of Coral Springs Swim Club, the same club that he trained with in Florida while training to make the Olympic team and will coach alongside his wife, Michelle Lenhardt<\/strong>, who is the national team coach at the club.<\/p>\n

Fratus, who won the bronze medal in the 50 freestyle at the Tokyo Olympics, made the announcement on Instagram.<\/p>\n

“I\u2019m proud to announce that, starting in August 2024, I will be serving as the Head Coach of @coralspringsswimming \u2014the very club that supported me through some of the best years of my athletic career and served as my home in the pursuit of Olympic immortality,” Bruno Fratus wrote. “Personally, my approach to coaching will be rooted in the same principles that have guided my own career\u2014discipline, perseverance, and an unwavering pursuit of excellence.”<\/p>\n
