Turning marginally ahead of\u00a0<strong>Trenton Julian<\/strong> and<strong> Owen McDonald<\/strong> heading into freestyle, House came home in 28.22 for a victory in 1:58.29, just eight hundredths off his best time. McDonald touched out Julian for second, 1:59.03 to 1:59.06.<\/p>\n<p>Cox completed <a href=\"https:\/\/www.swimmingworldmagazine.com\/news\/jillian-cox-among-three-repeat-winners-at-speedo-summer-championships\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">the distance freestyle triple<\/a> with an 11-second personal best in the 1500 free, dropping to 16:07.29 to win the event by more than six-and-a-half seconds. Scarlet Aquatics&#8217;\u00a0<strong>Kate Hurst<\/strong> took second in 16:13.97, followed by Georgia swimmers\u00a0<strong>Rachel Stege<\/strong> (16:19.58) and\u00a0<strong>Abby McCulloh<\/strong> (16:30.66).<\/p>\n<p><strong>Bella Sims<\/strong> followed up her win in the 200 free Friday with a strong 2:12.79 in the 200 IM. Sims used stellar backstroke (32.30) and freestyle (30.87) legs to pull away from the field. SwimMAC&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Elle Scott<\/strong> (2:13.61) and Trojan&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Isabelle Odgers<\/strong> (2:15.08) took second and third, respectively.<\/p>\n<p>Also winning for the second time this week was Ohio State&#8217;s <strong>Charlie Clark<\/strong>, whose mark of 7:52.83 out-paced the field in the 800 free.\u00a0<strong>Silas Beth<\/strong> took second (7:56.97) ahead of Shawmut&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>William Mulgrew<\/strong> (7:57.71), with talented 15-year-old\u00a0<strong>Luka Mijatovic<\/strong> swimming a best time by almost two seconds to take fourth (7:57.94).<\/p>\n<p>In the 50 free, Fishers Area&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Julie Mishler<\/strong> won the women&#8217;s race in 25.14 ahead of Indiana&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Kristina Paegle<\/strong> (25.23) and Foxjets&#8217;\u00a0<strong>Caroline Larsen<\/strong> (25.25).
