The delegation includes athlete ambassadors <strong>Anthony Ervin<\/strong>, the four-time Olympic gold medalist swimmer and winner of the 50 free in 2000 and 2016, and artistic swimmer Bill May.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt is a tribute to the five organizational members of United States Aquatic Sports that so many talented and dedicated individuals will support aquatic competition in Paris,\u201d <strong>Dale Neuburger<\/strong>, the treasurer of World Aquatics and a technical delegate for swimming, said in a press release. \u201cI extend my congratulations to each of our American representatives, as they demonstrate the highest standards of competence and integrity.\u201d<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.swimmingworldmagazine.com\/meet\/2024-olympic-games-coverage-paris\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">2024 Olympic Games Coverage &#8211; Paris<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Americans are on the technical committee for open water, water polo, artistic swimming, swimming and sports medicine, led by open water technical committee chairman <strong>Sid Cassidy<\/strong>. At Paris La Defense Arena, <strong>Kathleen Scandary<\/strong> will serve as a swimming official and <strong>Lisa Vetterlein<\/strong> as a starter. <strong>Jennifer McCall<\/strong> and <strong>Darren Spiritosanto<\/strong> are water polo referees. <strong>Cheryl Russell<\/strong> is an artistic swimming judge, and <strong>Jeff Stabile<\/strong> is a diving judge.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;In addition to our outstanding aquatic athletes who will be competing at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, the US will be well represented by officials and committee members,\u201d <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gomotionapp.com\/team\/usas\/page\/about-usas\/who-is-usas\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">USAS president<\/a> <strong>Patty Miller<\/strong> said. \u201cThese people are accomplished experts in the aquatic disciplines. They make aquatic sports better &#8212; working for fairness, athlete safety, and sport excellence.
