Dressel will be in between\u00a0<strong>Dare Rose<\/strong>, the bronze medalist at last year&#8217;s World Championships, and\u00a0<strong>Zach Harting<\/strong>, a 2021 Olympian in the 200 fly, while backstroker\u00a0<strong>Ryan Murphy<\/strong> is in lane six.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Torri Huske<\/strong> is the top seed in the women&#8217;s 50 free semis, with\u00a0<strong>Gretchen Walsh<\/strong>, <strong>Simone Manuel<\/strong>\u00a0and <strong>Erika Connolly<\/strong> also in the second semifinal heat. <strong>Catie DeLoof<\/strong> and\u00a0<strong>Abbey Weitzeil<\/strong> swim in the first heat.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Kate Douglass<\/strong> and\u00a0<strong>Alex Walsh<\/strong> are the big favorites to qualify for the Olympic team in the 200 IM, particularly Huske having scratched to focus on the 50 free. Finally,\u00a0<strong>Katie Ledecky<\/strong> will try to become the only four-time winner of the met as she races in the 800 free final after topping the prelims field by 14 seconds.
