That\u2019s just .03 off her best time from Speedo Sectionals. More telling, it\u2019s well quicker than the meet record she set last year at 2:08.68, a potential harbinger of her form for Olympic Trials next month.<\/p>\n<p>Michigan took the next two spots, with <strong>Hannah Bellard<\/strong> in 2:11.55 and <strong>Katelyn Crom<\/strong> third in 2:12.29.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.swimmingworldmagazine.com\/news\/lilly-king-zach-harting-pick-up-wins-at-the-indy-may-cup\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Lilly King, Zach Harting Pick Up Wins at the Indy May Cup<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/natatorium.indianapolis.iu.edu\/24-indy-may-cup\/index.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Indy May Cup Meet Page<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The race of the day was a battle between Olympians, with <strong>Lilly King<\/strong> again getting the better of <strong>Kotryna Teterevkova.<\/strong> King led at the midway point but had to rally over the final 50 meters to get to the wall first in 2:24.62, edging the Lithuanian by .13 seconds. No one else was withing six seconds.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Chris Guiliano<\/strong> won the 50 free 22.34, the national teamer .17 seconds up on Michigan\u2019s <strong>Bence Szabados. Daniel Baltes<\/strong> was third in 22.53, with <strong>Blake Pieroni<\/strong> following in 22.60.<\/p>\n<p>Michigan had a strong day all around. Crom was also second in the 400 free. <strong>Jack Wilkening<\/strong> went 53.37 to dominate the men\u2019s 100 back, well ahead of the 54.62 swum by <strong>Wyatt Davis<\/strong> for the meet record last year. <strong>Brady Kendall<\/strong> went 25.09 to win the women\u2019s 50 free.<\/p>\n<p>Kendall edged a pair of swimmers who tied for second, Indiana\u2019s <strong>Kristina Peagle<\/strong> and 16-year-old <strong>Julie Mishler,<\/strong> in 25.14. <strong>Gabi Albiero<\/strong> was fourth in 25.31.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Aaron Shackell<\/strong> made it a Shackell 200 fly sweep. He went 1:58.57, eight tenths up on <strong>Zach Harting. Ryan Merani<\/strong> was third.<\/p>\n<p>Indiana\u2019s breaststroke contingent ruled the men\u2019s 200 breast, though in perhaps a surprising order. <strong>Benson Wong<\/strong> claimed the win in 2:12.70, .23 up on <strong>Josh Matheny. Maxwell Reich<\/strong> was fourth, with <strong>Jassen Yep<\/strong> fifth. In between was <strong>Charlie Swanson. Tommy Cope,<\/strong> out of the B final, had the third-fastest time of the night in 2:15.31.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Charlotte Crush<\/strong> won the women\u2019s 100 back in 1:01.04, outdueling <strong>Ayla Spitz\u2019s<\/strong> 1:01.18.
