Utah adds Aly Tetzloff as an Assistant Coach<\/strong><\/p>\n

The University of Utah has added Aly Tetzloff<\/strong> as an assistant coach, the school announced this week.<\/p>\n

Tetzloff joins the staff of Jonas Persson.<\/strong> The 14-time All-American at Auburn spent two seasons after retiring as a professional swimmer as an assistant coach at Florida Gulf Coast.<\/p>\n

“I am so thankful for Jonas and the Utah staff for giving me this opportunity to join the Ute Family,” Tetzloff said in a university statement<\/a>. “From the moment I flew into Salt Lake City, I was in awe of the surrounding natural beauty and blown away by the athletic facilities on campus. Tetzloff helped the Eagles to a 5-0 record in the ASUN last year, winning nine medals at the conference championship meet.<\/p>\n

Tetzloff was a 14-time All-American across four individual events and three freestyle relays at Auburn. She was a three-time SEC Champion, including in the 100 back as a senior in 2019. She swam at Olympic Trials in 2016 and 2021. The native of Crown Point, Indiana, swam professionally in all three seasons<\/a> of the International Swimming League.<\/p>\n
