By offering a platform to some of the most impressive stars in the sport, Franklin and Hoff have provided their viewers with an opportunity to learn about the careers, lives and thought processes of athletes they watch in competition.<\/p>\n<p>This week, Franklin and Hoff were joined on Unfiltered Waters by Simone Manuel, one of the greatest sprinters in American history. Based on recent results in USA Swimming Pro Series competition, Manuel is going to be a major factor in Indy.<\/p>\n<p>During her hourlong interview with Franklin and Hoff, Manuel analyzed these recent performances, along with detailing the ups and downs she has experienced during her career. Manuel discussed the Overtraining Syndrome with which she dealt at the last Olympic Trials and how she has also focused on her mental health.<\/p>\n<p>Franklin and Hoff have created a welcoming environment for their guests, one in which athletes feel comfortable speaking about their careers in an honest manner.
