Practicing, racing and competing for the Block M with my best friends is something I will cherish for the rest of my life. Thank you to my teammates, coaches and family for this experience. I couldn\u2019t have asked for a better four years as a Michigan Wolverine,&#8221; Kathryn Ackerman posted. &#8220;With that said, I am thrilled to announce that I will be using my fifth year of eligibility at Purdue University. Time for <a class=\"x1i10hfl xjbqb8w x1ejq31n xd10rxx x1sy0etr x17r0tee x972fbf xcfux6l x1qhh985 xm0m39n x9f619 x1ypdohk xt0psk2 xe8uvvx xdj266r x11i5rnm xat24cr x1mh8g0r xexx8yu x4uap5 x18d9i69 xkhd6sd x16tdsg8 x1hl2dhg xggy1nq x1a2a7pz notranslate _a6hd\" tabindex=\"0\" role=\"link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/graceeackerman\/\">@graceeackerman<\/a> and I to both become Boilermakers and take on this next year together.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Ackerman&#8217;s sister, Grace Ackerman, will be a freshman on the Purdue team next year after signing with the Boilermakers.<\/p>\n<p>At Michigan, Ackerman finished seventh at the NCAA Championships in the 400 IM as a freshman. She was part of a Big Ten champion 800 free relay in 2021 and was an honorable mention All-American in the 400 IM 2023.<\/p>\n<p>Kathryn Ackerman is from Grand Haven, Michigan, and trained at Michigan Lakeshore Aquatics in Holland.
