NC State Receives Verbal Pledge From Distance Freestyler Max Carlsen\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

NEW COMMIT:\u00a0<\/strong>NC State University has earned a new verbal commitment for the 2025-26 season and beyond from Olympic Trials qualifier Max Carlsen\u00a0<\/strong>of Las Vegas, Nevada.<\/p>\n

He will join\u00a0Gavin Keogh<\/strong><\/a>, Tyler Bardak<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong>and\u00a0Aaron Davidson<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong>in Raleigh as a member of the Wolfpack\u2019s Class of 2029.<\/p>\n

Regarding his commitment, he said:<\/p>\n

\u201cExcited to announce my verbal commitment to NC State! Can\u2019t wait to be a part of the Pack!”<\/strong><\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

A freestyler and backstroker, Carlsen trains year-round with Las Vegas Swim Club and won the mile at Juniors East back in December where he also placed fourth in the 500 free. He won the 500 free and 1000 free at Lewisville Sectionals last month and<\/p>\n
