No\u00e8 Ponti\u00a0<\/b>returned after rattling the all-time 100 fly rankings to claim the national title in 50.37 at the 2024 Swiss Championships in Uster.<\/p>\n

The Olympic bronze medallist went sixth all-time in 50.16 in prelims, 0.71 outside Caeleb Dressel’s<\/strong> world record of 49.45, in\u00a0 the 18th-fastest performance in history.<\/p>\n

He came back in the evening to split 23.64\/26.73 for the second-fastest time of his career as he continues a rich vein of form as the Olympic countdown continues.<\/p>\n

Josef Miladinov<\/strong> was the only man within 3secs of Ponti, clocking 52.89 for second.<\/p>\n

Julia Ullmann<\/strong> was the only swimmer inside a minute to win the women’s race in 59.67.<\/p>\n
