Brendan Burns, Phoebe Bacon Named Big Ten Swimmers of the Year<\/strong><\/p>\n

Indiana\u2019s Brendan Burns<\/strong> and Phoebe Bacon<\/strong> of Wisconsin were named the Big Ten Swimmers of the Year on Thursday by the conference<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Indiana cleaned up the men’s awards<\/a>, with Ray Looze<\/strong> as the men\u2019s and women\u2019s swimming coach of the year, while Drew Johansen<\/strong> was named the top men\u2019s diving coach. Burns is the swimmer of the year for the third straight season, while Bacon also repeats as women\u2019s swimmer of the year.<\/p>\n

Minnesota picked up two honors, with Vivi Del Angel<\/strong> as the top diver and Wenbo Chen<\/strong> as the top diving coach.<\/p>\n
