Maddie Faikish, Pennsylvania 3A State Champion, Verbals to Notre Dame<\/strong><\/p>\n

NEW COMMIT:\u00a0<\/strong>Junior National qualifier\u00a0Maddie Faikish\u00a0<\/strong>has pledged her verbal commitment to continue her academic and swimming career at the University of Notre Dame beginning in Fall 2025.<\/p>\n

She will join Tess Heavner<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong>in South Bend next fall.<\/p>\n

Her older brother, Sean Faikish<\/strong>, is currently a senior for the Fighting Irish men’s team.<\/p>\n

Regarding her commitment, she said:<\/p>\n

“I am so beyond excited to finally announce my verbal commitment to further my academic and athletic career at the University of Notre Dame! I\u2019m so thankful for my friends, family, coaches and everyone who had helped me along the way! GO IRISH”<\/strong><\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

A mid-distance freestyler, Faikish trains year-round with North Penn Aquatic Club and\u00a0 earned three top-8 finishes at the NCAP Invitational back in December. She earned two best times at West Fargo Futures last summer after taking 17th in the 200m free and 18th in the 400m free at Middle Atlantic Long Course Seniors.<\/p>\n
