They ended up 18 clear of Denison, the lead pack leaving NYU behind on the final night at Greensboro Aquatic Center.<\/p>\n<p>Emory clinched its third straight men\u2019s crown. Lang just hung on in the final 50, coming home in 26.22 to Vincent\u2019s 24.99. That led the Claremont Mudd Scripps junior win gold in 15:17.48. He had been fifth last year.<\/p>\n<p>Vincent, a junior from NYU, was second. It\u2019s his second straight medal, having won bronze last year. <strong>Lucas Conrads<\/strong> of Denison was third in 15:22.12. Three nights later, there was no shock when she went 16:34.67 to add the mile title to the pile. The points were huge for Kenyon, holding off what it traditionally a stronghold for Denison.<\/p>\n<p>Williams\u2019 <strong>Lily Codd<\/strong> was second in 16:41.51. She was fourth last year. NYU\u2019s <strong>Caitlin Marshall<\/strong> improved from fifth in 2023 to the bronze medal in 16:41.99. Like in the men\u2019s race, the reigning women\u2019s champ from Johns Hopkins, <strong>Kristin Cornish,<\/strong> dropped to fourth.<\/p>\n<p>Denison wasn\u2019t as dominant as usual in this event. They put three swimmers in the top 10. But <strong>Taryn Wisner<\/strong> and <strong>Tara Witkowski<\/strong> were second and third last year. Her faith in a switch was rewarded with a time of 48.79 to not just add another title but to take down the NCAA record of 48.98 dating all the way back to <strong>Kendra Stern<\/strong> of Amherst.<\/p>\n<p>McIntyre was head and shoulders above the field. Pomona-Pitzer\u2019s <strong>Alex Turvey<\/strong> finished second in 49.56, up from eighth last year.
