Competing at the Indiana University Natatorium, Alex Shackell won the 200 butterfly while Aaron Shackell managed a win in the 400 freestyle.<\/p>\n<p>Coming off an impressive decision in the 200 freestyle from Friday night, Aaron Shackell opened his Saturday slate with a first-place finish in the 400 freestyle. Shackell clocked a time of 3:48.92 to register a two-plus second win over <strong>Luke Whitlock<\/strong> (3:51.16). Bick<\/p><\/div>\n<p>Alex Shackell, who has already represented the United States at the World Championships, looked sharp in the 200 fly while managing a time of 2:07.13. Although <strong>Regan Smith<\/strong> will head into the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.usaswimming.org\/event\/2024\/06\/15\/default-calendar\/u.s.-olympic-team-trials---swimming\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Olympic Trials<\/a> as the favorite in the 200 fly, Shackell has firmly established herself as a top contender for a Paris invitation in the event. Shackell went through the opening 100 meters in 59.75.<\/p>\n<p>In other action on Saturday night, Lakeside\u2019s <strong>Charlotte Crush<\/strong> won the 100 backstroke in 1:00.48, with her brother, <strong>Johnny Crush<\/strong>, taking first in the event on the men\u2019s side in 55.57.
