Luther                              5<\/pre>\n<h4>Men\u2019s 200 freestyle relay<\/h4>\n<p>Kenyon won the 200 free relay for the second straight year, <strong>Djordje Dragojlovic, Daniel Brooks, Marko Krtinic<\/strong> and <strong>Aleksa Dobric<\/strong> clocking in at 1:19.19 to win by nearly three tenths. NYU was second in 1:19.48. Emory went 1:19.52 for bronze. Turvey went 22.50 on the second leg, which was impressive until Mello brought them home in 22.45. They were more than a second clear of the field. They had been quickest in prelims and tied for fourth last year. Turvey and Mello had the two fastest splits of the A final.<\/p>\n<p>Denison finished second in 1:32.60, with Swarthmore jumping up to third in 1:32.99. The Emory junior got his hand to the wall .04 seconds ahead of Higgins. Higgins had led by 15 at 300 yards, but a 27.40 from Thorsen on his seventh 50 took nearly eight tenths out of Higgins, and he clawed back .59 of that in the final 50.<\/p>\n<p>Kenyon\u2019s <strong>Ethan Manske<\/strong> was third in 3:52.04, nearly finding his way into the leading pack. He finished fifth last year. Coast Guard Academy\u2019s <strong>Sean Lyman<\/strong> was fourth in 3:53.34, up from 24th last year. The good news is that <strong>Jesse Ssengonzi<\/strong> reclaimed his 100 fly title with an NCAA record of 46.28. The bad news is that the second seed from prelims, <strong>Cooper Costello,<\/strong> was disqualified for a false start.<\/p>\n<p>Ssengonzi got the job done, though, finally taking down the NCAA record of 46.46 set by <strong>David Fitch<\/strong> in 2021. It was quicker by a tenth than the time posted by <strong>Alex Turvey<\/strong> in prelims, and the Pomona-Pitzer senior was .05 slower in 53.62.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Emma Pritchett<\/strong> of Denison is the bronze medalist for a second straight year, having gone 54.73. She edged <strong>Emma Schulman<\/strong> of Williams by .03.
